Kairos X Planète Urgence

Planète Urgence is an international solidarity and development NGO established in 2000 and recognized as a public utility. Through its volunteer programs, skills reinforcement actions, awareness campaigns, and forest preservation projects, its mission is to empower men and women to protect forests and biodiversity.

Our Manifesto

Use this space to promote the business, its products or its services. Help people become familiar with the business and its offerings, creating a sense of connection and trust. Focus on what makes the business unique and how users can benefit from choosing it.

Our History

Hervé Dubois, founder of ATLAS, recognized during the Gulf War and the Rwanda conflict that the skills and experiences of citizens and employees could benefit international solidarity. Thus, he founded Congé Solidaire® in 2000 to promote corporate volunteering. Following the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, the NGO expanded its mission to address development issues linking the environment and development, becoming Planète Urgence. In 2017, Planète Urgence joined the Groupe SOS and became part of its international solidarity division, now presided over by Nicolas Froissard.

Acting for the Forests

Planète Urgence empowers individuals to preserve forests and biodiversity through protection, restoration, and awareness actions where the impact can be most significant.
